We are determined to construct a comprehensive asset management business that consists of:
(i) private equity investments through IDFC Private Equity Company Limited
(ii) project equity through IDFC Project Equity Company Limited, and
(iii) public markets investment advisory services through IDFC Investment Advisors Limited.
IDFC Private Equity manages a corpus of US$ 630 million and is India’s largest and most active private equity fund focused on infrastructure. The two funds under management are India Development Fund (IDF) and IDFC Private Equity Fund II.
IDFC, along with Citigroup and India Infrastructure Finance Company Limited (IIFCL) launched a landmark US$ 5 billion initiative for financing infrastructure projects in India. The equity fund will be solely managed by IDFC.
IDFC plans to raise approximately $1.7 billion in private and project equity funds focused on infrastructure. The objective is to build a large asset management platform focused on private investments and public markets through a variety of domestic and offshore products. |
